hi everyone :D i realised something. i've became more distant with my dad.. i jus realised that i can kinda live without him in my life. i have no idea why but i realised that without him. life is still the same. and i just realised that i don't really know much about him. even when he's home, i don't really get to talk to him and even when i do, he don't really give constructive responses. i don't want this. i want things to go back to the way it was before. at least then, when i talk to him, he gives contructive responses. he is able to save us when our mom gets angry and scolds us. i don't know what happened. now, he is like my mom's dog or something. he doesn't dare to stop my mom anymore. something's seriously wrong. maybe i'm just thinking too much. i hope its just me.
Fuck this whole shit man. Fuck this whole friendship thing. Fuck everything. Why is it so hard to have friends? Time and time again friends kinda let me down. WTF is this? Friendships are so hard to keep. The first time a friend let me down was during primary school. And now? it happened again. Maybe its just me. Why am i so unlucky every time? was it something i did? maybe i did something that let to her being unhappy with me. i just don get it.
Cambodia- Day 3 :D Day three is quite a free and easy day. Woke up like 10 plus or 11 plus. Went for breakfast buffet in hotel restaurant again. Visited a war museum after breakfast. There was a man who was full of experience as our guide. He had bullets, ball bearings, metal nails, etc in his body due to war. He even got a leg lost due to a land mine. Saw different guns, mines, generades, bazookas, tanks, etc. A total eye opener. Visited a jewellery shop after that. Was taught how to differentiate between a fake jewel and a real one, how to differentiate glass and the jewel. It is by exposing it to a flame few hundreds of degrees hot. The glass would deform while the jewel will still remain but only turn black. Bt after leaving it for awhile, like maybe 5 mins, it would have the shine and colour it had before burning. Went for a meal of kfc after tht. Nothing special. Went around to search for shops that sell local food or souveneirs. I Ate cricket!!! Wahahahahaha. Was so happy. This trip is complete(: after eating the cricket, we went for massage at healthy hands. I had a foot massage. Relaxing(: back to our hotel for a rest And to freshen up after that. Went for dinner at duck place again(: pendicure and manicure after dinner :D gold for my hands and black for my toes XD damm beautiful after everything. Sleep and rest after that. Have to leave hotel by 6 tomorrow. :( I don want to go back. Nites(:
Cambodia- Day 2 :D Woke up at 8 plus. Quickly freshen up and prepared myself for a long day ahead. Will be walking alot. Went to lvl 1 for breakfast buffet. Quite full after it. The food thAt was nice was the bacon wrapped sweet potato. Delicious. The part that was covered By the bacon was very soft and if you were to put the whole thing in your mouth in one go the thing would kinda melt in your mouth. Nice! :) after breakfast we went to Angkor. There was differnt parts of it. Angkor Thom. Angkor means city and thom meAns big. Then we go several other smaller temples And in the afternooon we were going to visit the Angkor wat. And then go to another I think temple which is I think 65m up which means we nid to take about 15 min to go up for sunset. We had to take a photo for the entry pAss. When we are at the entrance, the person punched a hole at the number 18 which meant today's date. Angkor thom is where the king stayed and Angkor wat is where they pray as wat means temple or Buddhist monestery when buddism became popular. We went to a few temples which don't look like the temples we have in singapore. To be great king u must build temple. There was an unfinished temple as the inscriptions said that the temple will get struck by lightning so the king decided not to finish the temple. After that we walked to another temple and probably that's the last one. After that we bought some flutes from some kids since they were walking around on the hot sand barefooted. After that we went to Angkor wat, the middle entrance is for impt ppl. The other two side are for less impt ppl. The king was buried at here to have power of god as they believed in recarnation. We saw a pond that has the full reflection of the 3 entrances and the 3 Buddha heads. It is said to be always on cover of postcards. After we walked around inside the Angkor wat, we headed to find for poorer villages again but there was none. So we headed back to our hotel to freshen up. Went to pongyang Korean restaurant for dinner after that. Ate lots of spicy food and made my face red. Quite delicious food. But very expensive. US$ 112 if I never remember wrongly. Went back to hotel to rest after dinner. Didn't really feel well after dinner. :( nites.
Cambodia- Day 1 :D When we first reach the airport, I was like wow. Cuz the airport hAd a different feeling, a different design. After we got fetched by our local guide, mr long Mara and our driver was mr D. we went to the village to eat. Delicious noodles. After eating we went to the orphanage. We looked around, donated some things for the 34 children staying there. When we gave them the two badmiton rackets, they was elated and there was a smile on their faces. The smile told many things, and then did I realize that even little things like this can put a smile on people's faces. Then we went around the village to see if there were any poorer families. We went to I think two families. The first bad home made of wooden planks. They had nothing inside their house. Totally nothing. Just the big big empty space. The family hAs 8 children. When we gAve them bags and clothes since the 8 children was mostly naked. We saw tht smile Again. The daughter was cooking waffles to sell. Throughout the journey we only saw fields, traps to catch grasshoppers or crickets for eating and houses on stilts made of wood or straw or others. The second tht we went to was like a different experience: when we arrived at the second house we thought there was only a few kids. But to our surprise. Neighbours all came to get things from us. Neighbours even when they are like 3 4 houses away. Some of the people was abit scary. They took a sweet or maybe shirt from us and hid it somewhere and then Asked us for more. Then we thought they hadn't took it so we gave them again. And once again they hid it and asked for more. But we knew who has taken after the second time. Some of the neighbours was very evil. We were only giving the kids clothes and food. But some of the adults came to get it. After going around the village to look for poorer families, we went to check in at our hotel. Nice hotel. Nice design. Nice friendly smile they had on their faces, nice everything. There was this bellman who is very cute. Kept wanting to help us carry our bags but we were like nvm nvm it's ok. We can manage. After checking in we went out for lunch. The place tht we went to was like a total cheat for our money. The coconut tht I ordered for my drink was like totally shit. The food was expensive but only came in very small portions. After that we went to a mall the locals called huge. it was big. But didn't really had any shops in it. Then we rented a boat and went on the largest river in southeast Asia. The journey was fun but quite disgusting. We had to watch out whenever there was a boat that passed us as the would cause water to be splashed onto us. Fun. Better still during the journey a small local kid jumped onto our boat to sell us drinks. And after that we saw a floating school. The guide said it was for illegal vietnamese children. Then we went to a fish farm when raining season comes, the boat will come to pull the fish farm to another place. After that we saw a few crocodiles. We learnt something new about crocodiles- they do not have tongues. After all those, it's time we returned to the hotel for rest. On the journey back, everyone was sleeping. Even me. ;) what a tiring day today is. Oh, and I learnt another thing. Angkor is the city. Angkor wat is the temple and monestery crocodiles. We learnt something new about crocodiles- they do not have tongues. After all those, it's time we returned to the hotel for rest. On the journey back, everyone was sleeping. Even me. ;) what a tiring day today is. Oh, and I learnt another thing. Angkor is the city. Angkor wat is the temple and monestery. Upon arrival at our starting point once again, we went to look for poor families since we still had many clothes left. While sitting in the van, the driver suddenly stopped and the guide told us that we could stop at a nearby house for donating clothes. When we drove in to the house, we could see the children jumping and smiling cutely at us. But once we stopped, the children suddenly turned wild and there was more then just a few kids. Instead it was like a whole herd of them and they suddenly became very violent. It was indescribable the bigger kids were squashing the smaller ones. The guys were hitting the girls. Scary. After that we went back to our hotel to slack. We were dead tired. Went for a swim and took a shower. Ahhhhhh... After that we went to the night market and went for delicious duck dinner. The night market didn't really have anything to see or buy. Went to a place to eat cheesecake and others. Mother and mother's friend went for massage. Me and yi thong was like asked to go up for massage and the person tell us where we were going and the second floor was dark. I was scared and kept asking the lady where she was taking us to since she was holding a phone and talking in their language. I was worried but yi thong went up so I had no choice but to follow. Then the lady asked us to lie down and we were going to have a full body mAssage. Then i was like huh?? Nvm. Let's just go for shoulder massage and yi thong said she wanted to find our mothers to tell them. So we went down and in the end we went of the store. Idiots. Aft was back to hotel for slacking. :D nites.
